David Fitzsimons was presented with the Player of the Year award at the 2018 AGM in recognition of his achievement in qualifying for the International Master title.

The Player of the Year award for 2013 was awarded jointly to Alex Goss and Luke Keenan. Both are pictured below receiving the award from club president Victor Murray.
The 2012 Player of the Year has been shared by Fred Armstrong and David Fitzsimons.
