Coaching Corner
This part of the website contains a variety of material about chess including annotated games, puzzles and general advice on how the game is played. The initiative for developing the Coaching Corner now is to enable us to help members, particular junior/less experienced members to continue to learn about the game during the period of restrictions on social contact arising from the necessity to limit the spread of the Covid 19 virus.
Members generally are also invited to send any material they wish to share with a wider audience to our webmaster Ciaran Quinn for uploading onto the site.
All such contributions to the Coaching Corner would be most welcome so that puzzles, annotated games, advice about particular aspects of the game e.g., openings, strategy, tactics etc can be shared with club members at all levels of experience.
Links to other chess websites that have information that might be of interest should also be notified to Ciaran for uploading onto our site.
Any comments or suggestions on how the Coaching Corner might be improved, including, for example, requests for more information on particular aspects of the game are most welcome.
