Heidenfeld Trophy: 5th
Ennis Shield: 8th (although having played less games than the other teams)
O’Hanlon Cup: 6th
Bodley Cup (Group B): 2nd

St. Benildus 4½ Elm Mount 3½ (Heidenfeld, 26th September)
Dun Laoghaire 4 Elm Mount 4 (Armstrong, 3rd October)
Ciaran Quinn (right) receives his prize for finishing runner up in the Masters Section of the City of Dublin Chess Championships 2012 from Leinster Chess Union President, Charlie Talbot. Ciaran achieved a very creditable score of 3.5/5 in a very competitive event.
Fred Armstrong has won the club championship with a score of 7.5/9.
Runner-up were Pat Fitzsimons, Peter McGrath and Alan McDonagh.
The City of Dublin tournament is taking place in the Teachers Club in Parnell Square next weekend (7th to 9th September). There are 6 Elm Mount players entered so far – details of the tournament are here.
Andrew Peters has won Section B of the Club Championship with a 100% score, 7/7.

Ciaran Quinn was joint winner of the Dún Laoghaire rapid-play tournament on Sunday August 19th with a score of 5/6, sharing first place with Karl McPhillips and a visitor from Russia.
William Ffrench won the 1501-1800 grading prize.
The fixtures for divisions 1 to 5 for the 2012/13 season have been published on the LCU site. Elm Mount have teams in divisions 1 to 4. The first matches are:-
